On Wednesday, the entire Abbeygate Accountancy team made the trip to London for Accountex 2025, the UK’s flagship event for accounting and finance professionals – and what a day it was!
From the moment we stepped into the Excel Centre, it was clear we were in for a whirlwind of ideas, insights, and inspiring conversations. The day was packed with networking, learning, and discovery as we met with a mix of long-standing partners and exciting new prospects.

It was fantastic to connect in person with some of the partners that help power our practice, including:

Perhaps just as valuable were the many impromptu chats with fellow accountants. There’s something refreshing about swapping stories, sharing tips, and yes – putting the world to rights over a coffee.
A Day to Remember
We wrapped up the day with a team meeting, a well-earned lunch, and a few celebratory drinks. But the real highlight? The mad dash for the train, of course – with at least four of the team clocking a personal best on their 5K time! (We’re still waiting for the official Strava stats…)
