Andy Smith, Founder & Finance Director. Andy founded Abbeygate in 2013 to shake up a stuffy industry. AAT Licensed Accountant of the Year 2024/25. Alongside Abbeygate he has acted as Finance Director at the John Banks Group, a Top 200 motor trade dealer group, which he helped grow from £30m to over £130m a year. That real-world commercial experience is exactly what he brings to clients.
